Trio of new appointments

Views have recently made three tactical appointments to support strategic growth across the business.

Head of acquisitions, Rob Haynes, will lead on origination and execution of investment deals and work directly with co-founder, Shoaib Muhammad within the company’s Investment business.

With industry experience dating back to 2010, Rob’s recent tenures include both MCR Property Group and Delph.

Shoaib Muhammad, co-CEO of Views, said: “Our investment business focuses on finding opportunities where we can create value through active asset management, refurbishment and repositioning. Rob’s appointment strengthens our ability to source and execute those transactions, while building lasting relationships with agents, owners and investment partners.

“We’re ambitious about growing this side of Views, with a clear focus on disciplined buying and a credible route to realising value.”

Andrew Turnbull has been recruited to the newly-created role of delivery director within the Housebuilding business, assuming ownership and accountability for projects from the point of acquisition to completion.

Simon Newby has been appointed to the position of senior contracts manager within the same unit as Andrew, and joins from a nine-year stint at Vistry Group. With 22 years in housebuilding under his belt, Simon will run point on every Views housing development, with direct responsibility for health & safety and the on-site delivery of Views’ existing pipeline.

Shujaat Rasool, co-CEO of Views, added: “These are significant hires and are demonstrative of turning the strategy and transformational work over the last 12 months into real capability.

“The company turns eight at the end of this year and, with respect to a number of advancements across both sides of the business, the time was right to solidify operations with new talent.

“We’re part-way through a pivotal time for the group and the collective knowledge & skills of our recent hires will complement our existing team as we continue delivering on our growing pipeline.”

With an existing pipeline of more than 240 homes set to start on site by 2027, and a robust business plan, Views is well on its way to achieving its ambition to build homes that unlock what people are capable of.
